Hey fam, i’m back from Annecy and Paris, had a quite intense 6 days and a rough reality check afterwards, haha. It’s always a bit of a parallel world during PFW, starting with the absolute urge to run at 7am every morning, hahaha. An observation: we’re having even more running than in the years before. First social run was tuesday morning, from then on there was at least 2-3 every day. (no problem with that if you ask me. Let the people run). btw let’s try this poll tool - maybe this is an interesting idea for the future. I myself like the variety of running stuff but i know some people already got annoyed. What about you?
I was mainly involved with Hoka on monday and tuesday: we started with a 15k sightseeing run around Seine and a late dinner to celebrate the upcoming release of the Hoka Speedloafer. Business in the front, party in the back. I’d love to actually see someone trailrunning it, due to the Speedgoat sole. Tuesday started with an early wake up run with Hoka and some shooting afterwards, followed by a visit to the Hoka showroom. Speedloafer 2 OG, damn. Those colors. Very wearable. Don’t have any more pics from the showroom but so much good stuff to come, including strong collabs.
During the day, i had the chance to check out the showroom of Havenshop and i gotta admit, the Canadians have one of the strongest collections i’ve seen in a while. I don’t want to over-exaggerate but there was not one piece in the room i wouldn’t wear. The Asics Nimbus collab includes a complete capsule and is such a good fit - but unfortunately not available throughout Europe’s retailers.

After another 7am early run on tuesday - with Saucony & a glimpse of their upcoming lifestyle & running footwear (good move to just show the highlights together in one room) - i went to Satisfy Running and got the big tour through the showroom. As you might have guessed, The Rocker was one of the highlights and pictures strictly forbidden. 5 colorways, good ones, will be released in early summer and you’ll not be disappointed. Swipe through the attached IG post for some of the new t-shirt and hoody graphics… for the first time many of the pieces are available as womens as well, let’s see where that leads us to. Another highlight ( i forgot to take a photo) was a Issey Miyake-ish plissee material, seems very luxurious to me. I’m very curious about Satisfy’s next steps as they’ve started to scale things BIG TIME.
Afterwards i went to see Sneakersnstuff x adidas (thx for goodies & snacks) Unna, Portal, Houdini and Norda. Didn’t have time for more - i’d love to have visited Vibram x Jolie Foulee, Hermanos Koumori, Tiempos, ROA, Kuta, Asics, Salomon, Gore-Tex and several other show rooms/events. But 6 days away from home have been enough tbh and i had to sprint to the train.
Norda have some pretty good colorways in their 2025 line-up and a whole new silhouette you might have not seen yet. Looks incredibly comfortable. Also, don’t forget we’re all still waiting for the 005 to drop! Also their white/black toolbox duffle bag is really massive and entirely made of Dyneema! Houdini is just one of those outdoor brands that don’t want to bend too much into lifestyle, what honors them. But tbh some of their upcoming styles are just to wearable, be it in the club or on the mountain. Their Osprey collab also show us again what colors and slightly adjusted materials can make out of a former “boring” product. Worth the wait! Their active/hiking/trail running is also at least worth a look!
Btw second observation: we’re seeing more female stuff - ROA and Satisfy for example with their first W collections in Paris. Still a big market to “win”…

Last but not least Portal is a very exciting project and has what most “new” brands in our sphere lack: they not only start with a team that’s massively experienced in the running and outdoor space, they also have product, material & innovation on their side. Rarely have i seen a (i know, not completely the first) debut collection entirely made out of the finest materials (Merino, Dyneema etc), featuring great ideas, especially in details. See for yourself, but the running belt seems like a good competition to the Raide belt i’m still hyped about. Colors on point as well!
Havenshop - Asics collab is 🔥!
Following up on your insta raffle post for the Diadora hat, long time fan of the account and dying to get that hat. Thanks man!!
I loved this and want more. Who else recapped PFW from a running perspective? I want to read it all.
