What's hot in running right now!?
Happy Holidays is what i can say for myself as i’m heading to Denmark tomorrow. That’s nice but on the other hand i’m missing quite some of the big fun going down in Pairs in the next weeks. But yeah, will follow on the TV i guess. And maybe Copenhagen Fashionweek is worth a visit too? Is it?
While i wasn’t very into the European Championship (football) in Germany over the last weeks, the Olympics always get me more than just excited. I don’t like that “patriotic fun stuff” too much but imho the Olympics is so much more about the athletes and especially sports that usually do not get the deserved attention. Lookin’ forward to it!
Looking forward even further, i’ll compete in MCC at UTMB in late August and will definitely have some altitude to collect before (not in Denmark tho). It’s 40k and 2300hm what’s nice. I’ll be in Chamonix only for 2,5 days unfortunately, but if you’re around and want to meet, dm. Maybe it’ll work out.
By the way i’ll definitely try to send out another letter during the games as too much is happening right now!

2 Satisfy x Crocs Quick Trail
Third installment of Satisfy’s engagement with CROCS. The Quick Trail is definitely the “most” runnable shoe so far and i’m looking forward to these as my vacation footwear choice. Love the editorial shooting! Out already.

Loved the news that Arcteryx has its own footwear design department now and isn’t dependent on Amer Sports in that regard anymore. The Sylan is one of three brandnew silhouettes that have been released yet and wow, the black-outed version wuth the white logo branding is out of this world. Ngl i haven’t run the shoe so can’t really tell you about the performance but i’ve seen quite some runners at Zugspitze in them

These are in for testing right now and damn, they got maximum cushion, that’s for sure. Release will be August 1st and if you’re looking for a max cushioned one for the long run, this could be yours.

7 On Labs Paris 2024
One of the things i’ll miss in Paris (beside amazing sports) is the On Labs that looks very very cool. They’ll highlight the On LiteSpray during the Games and yeah, it’s truely an innovation. Honestly i cannot imagine how that feels and works on feet but the first impression ist pretty promising!
